Trish Eze Takes Over from Ndudi As Enugu State Chairman RATTAWU

Enugu State Council of Radio Television Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) has elected new executive members that will run the affairs of the union for the next three years.

The event, held in Enugu, saw Comrade Trish Eze, a staff of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Enugu Zonal  Station emerged as the Chairperson of the Union.

Other members of the executive are: Tony Chukwu of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation, as Vice Chairman; Henry Madumere of  ESBS emerged Secretary; while the Assistant Secretary went to Comrade Anthony Okafor of NTA.

Comrade Cosmos Anozie of NTA was elected  the Treasurer; Financial Secretary went to Comrade Eunice Dilibe; Comrade Chika Nwagbara of the FRCN is the new publicity Secretary  and Comrade Sophia Ali of the ESBS clinched  the position of Auditor.

In her acceptance speech, Eze promised to run an all inclusive administration towards promoting the interest of members and ensuring development of the union.

She thanked the national president of the union for conducting a peaceful election which brought them to power.

Eze, who is the immediate past FRCN Chapter Chairperson, takes over from Comrade Chude Ndudi as the state Chairman.

Earlier in a speech, the Vice President of RATTAWU, South East Zone, Prince Emeka Kalu, urged the newly elected executive members to be hardworking and live up to expectations

Also speaking at the event, the returning officer, Comrade Sunday Ifeanyi, who is also the national officer South-East zone, described the election as transparent.

Ifeanyi charged the new executive not to betray the confidence reposed on them by members and work harder to move the Union to higher heights.
