International Youth Day: Regent of Nri Kingdom sends strong message to all Youths (READ DETAILS)

The Regent of Nri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Prince Ikenna Onyesoh (Idevuteaku), celebrates with Nigeria Youths as they mark their international youth day today.

The Traditional Ruler of Ancient NRI Kingdom while commenting on these years International Youth Day, congratulated Nigeria youths on what he described as progressive movement for a new order in the country.

His Majesty in a statement made available to newsmen in Awka by his special Media assistant, Comrade Udogadi Umendu, noted that youths are no longer the leaders of tomorrow as it was being said by some people but insisted that they are the leaders of both today and tomorrow.

According to the Monarch he said “this Year’s International Youth Day with the Theme
Intergenerational Soliderity Creating A world For All Ages.” He described it as a step in the right direction judging from the progressive movement for a new order in Nigeria.

“The Youths are no longer leaders of tomorrow, but leaders of today, they are the hope of today’s generation. The youth are fearless, smart, intelligent, outstanding and strong. Happy International Youth Day”, he concluded.

Nri is a community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state and is believed that origin of Igbo started from that community, that’s why they are regarded as the head of all Igbos.
