The much anticipated holiday summer lessons for pupils and students in Nri, kick started yesterday Monday, August 8th with an astonishing turn out.
When interviewed by our correspondent, the organizer of the lesson, Mr Christain Nwafor popularly known as ‘Oyoyo’, stated that this was his own little way of paying back to the community that raised him and molded him into what he is today. He further stated that he was willing to do more within his capacity, to see the little ones in the community turn out to be future leaders.
Mr Christain who hails from Enugu state was raised in Nri Kingdom, a community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state.
The populace couldn’t hide their satisfaction on social media as many Nri indigenes have been showering prayers and good wishes to him and his team, over the programme and for making out time to bring such opportunity for the indigenes of Nri free of charge, as it will positively engage their children through their summer break.
“Many can’t afford sending their kids for summer lesson, Christian making this totally free is a welcomed development, and may God continue to bless him ” one of them said.
DO YOU THINK IT IS WISE DOING THIS SUMMER LESSON AT NO CHARGE, KNOWING THE COUNTRY IS HARD AND THE ORGANIZERS USED MONEY TO START THIS UP? LET’S SEE YOUR COMMENT BELOW.
