Ekwunife Inspects On-going Construction Of Classroom Block In Awka Community

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Iyom Uche Ekwunife, at the weekend, inspected the on-going construction of a block of four classroom at Community Secondary School, Ugbene in Awka North LGA of Anambra State.

Ekwunife, represented by her project Director, Hon Ify Chinwuko, described Ugbene as a community with invaluable potentials, noting that her desire for improvement of education in the zone especially in the rural areas form the basis for the project intervention.

While appreciating the community for their continued support, Ekwunife maintained that a good lawmaker should attract sizable projects like road, healthcare, construction of school in addition to giving the zone a strong voice at the National Assembly.

She urged the good people of Ugbene to use the opportunity and ensure their children acquire education noting that education remains the bedrock of development.

Ekwunife who is also the Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation promised to complete the project before the end of May 2023.
