Awka—The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Iyom Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has felicitated with the government and good people of Anambra state on the 31st anniversary creation of the state.
Ekwunife appreciates God for the peaceful coexistence amongst the people in spite of differences in culture, tradition and religious beliefs. She notes that amidst the differences Ndi Anambra are united, exemplary and Innovative.
The federal lawmaker who is currently in Rome to witness the creation of His Eminence, Peter Ebere Okpaleke, the Bishop of Ekwulobia Catholic Diocese as a cardinal of the Catholic Church, expresses delight in the ingenuity, foresightedness, perseverance and immense contributions of Ndi Anambra towards the development of the state. She acknowledges the state as truly the “Light of the Nation” and lauds the people’s irrefutable roles in nation building.
While paying glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the state for their vision and sacrifices, the Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation acknowledges the efforts of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo led administration, urging Ndi Anambra to support the state government to actualise it’s vision.
The Senator further appreciates her constituents for their continued support and partnership in delivering the dividends of democracy, and reassures the people of her commitment towards offering empathetic and people-centered representation
